I got a Simmons scope and Hogue stock for my 10/22.  I also got a 40gb IBM Deskstar hard drive to replace one of mine that crashed the other day.  At least SOMEONE knew what I wanted. [:D]

Don't get me wrong.  I also got other people gifts.  Actually, I'd rather give gifts than receive any.  I always feel awkward getting gifts for Christmas from others.

My wife and I adopted 2 elderly ladies and a single mom this year. We gave them presents and a bunch of food for Christmas dinner and more.

After the last couple of months it felt good to give a little cheer.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Some mags for the Mark 23, USP40C, and USP45C, along with an ARMS mount for the M1A and about $400 worth of books.

I'm not finished yet. I'll be damned if unemployment will squelch my gun parts purchases.

I didn't get anything this morning except a kiss from the wife and big hugs from all my visiting relatives and friends (all 14 of them).

My family has decided this year to give gift only to children and all the money we would have spent on adults will be collected at my parents house this afternoon and will be used to buy infant formulas to send to local food bank.  We hope to collect about $4,000-4,500.

I was going to get the LEGP Pistol for Christmas but I think I'll enjoy buying the infant formula even more than the pistol (I already have several very nice 1911 pistols).  We will do the same next year and this will become traditional practice in future.

Merry Christmas everyone :)

I got myself a compact ACOG (traded a Bushy upper and some cash) about a month and a half ago. That was going to be my only christmas present to myself, until me and the wife found a house we wanted to buy (finally!). So we're not even getting anything for each other this christmas, opting to instead save money for the closing costs. So I guess you could say we got a house for christmas. Not bad!

If any of you can think of "any thing else" I need with this pistol, please, I beg of you, do not tell me !!

P.S. I've just read a BATF mandate beginning 1/15/02 that declares the "Optional Laser Sight" as no longer optional but a necessity.

I waited to buy my gifts to me until after Christmas. Now it's time to go shopping!  Some items on the list are: Colt M4 upper, Para Ordnance P1445 Limited, new home theater speakers, DVD player, new digicam (so you all don't have to look at my hidious purple rifle pics any more!), a new leather jacket (old one looks more like Taliban hide than cow hide), and a Play Station 2.
