died in a vehicle accident.  He slid on an icy patch and went into a ditch and died of internal injuries.

He had gone past being a craftsman into artisanship with his rifles.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him even briefly.  He is and always will be a shining example of what a firearms manufacturer should be.
