Well, Model 1 Sales has a 10.25", barreled upper
reciever, complete except for bolt and charging handle for $285.00, brand new of course. But if it really is nice, its a decent deal. |

If I am not mistaken you will have to spend
some money for paperwork to legally own if you have'nt already. If I am mistaken please let me know. |

you can buy the upper just fine with no problems but if you want to put it on a lower and turn it into a firing gun then it'll be an SBR and you'll have to fill out a form 2 (?) atf form and pay a $200 tax etc in order to register it as an NFA short barreled rifle

I took it for granted you already had some AOW, NFA whatzit mounted on that receiver before, or have it registered as a pistol / short barreled rifle. Wana hear a weird story? I had a 8" Colt legally registered as a pistol in CHICAGO for about ten years! I remember going into the basement of city hall to register it, & nobody there thought anything of it (except that it was a silly idea). |
