Please, no cheating, only count those rounds that go where they were intended to go, and average range you delivered them.

I shoot about $100.00 per month of 5.56mm ammo out of my Oly Pre-Ban 20" A1 AR. I shoot at a local indoor (yuck!) range, at 30 yds per shot..

At that distance, surely you put em all in the same hole, I hope. That being said, you have the right range and a nice 300+ battle zero to boot.

Practice makes perfect!

I burn about 500 - 600 rounds per month.  Ranges from 30 yards standing, 50 yards kneeling, and 100 yards prone or bench.

Not enough...

I would really like to do more, and I will.

Well, the winter months drop the average quite a bit.

The average per 12 months is less than 100. Probably 85-90.

Most of 'em are at 100 yds. at my personal range and the balance at official matches (200 yd. range).

A case would last me for years now that I traded all my magazines in for eight rounders.

Anywhere from 300-1000, depending on how often I make it to the range.

Between matches and practice (thats what we call our playtime), about 500 rounds a month. Thats 99% at 100 yds. since my range shoots  100yd. reduced course matches.

In the winter, about 100 rounds a month plinking at 25 yards.
In the summer, about 500 rounds per month,
100 at 100 yards,
100 at 300 yards
200 at 25 yards (Fred's Targets)
100 plinking and hunting prairie dogs.
I buy ammo during the winter and shoot it up during the summer.
