I am posting as a following-up to a thread that was posted about a year ago, where this woman alleged that she was reportedly raped by a man at a bar she frequented and was wondering in the streets at 3am.  Most people agreed that he did the husband did right thing by shooting the alledged rapist, but....

Man Sentenced to a Year in Jail for Revenge Shooting

(KFWB) 12.19.01, 2:30p -- A Redondo Beach resident who shot a man based on his wife's rape allegation has been sentenced to a year in jail and three years probation. Anthony Starita, 32, pleaded no contest to assault with a deadly weapon. The woman later admitted the sexual encounter was consensual.
Prosecutors say Starita went to a Hermosa Beach bar and shot Ali Sina Sharareh in the buttocks in the men's room. It was the same bar where the 22-year-old victim had met the gunman's wife a few days earlier.

Starita picked the man out based on a composite sketch his 26-year-old wife helped police create. She had told officials Sharareh followed her from Patrick Molloy's bar into an alley and raped her early last Dec. 31. The woman later said they had a consensual sexual encounter, but maintained he raped her after that. The District Attorney's Office did not file a rape case against Sharareh.

Starita began serving his jail term immediately after sentencing.

So when is the wife going to be arrested for perjury?

I remember that one. The wife never told [b]Police[/b] she was raped, tso there is no perjury/false crime report. She just used the "rape" as an excuse to give her hubby when she dragged her skanky ass home at 0330. I guess she didnt expect hubby to shoot the "rapist".
