I was at our local gun show today and the only thing I bought were some ammo canns. They were the only thing reasonably priced.
There were unconverted Saiga 12's there for $1100.00, stripped lower receivers for $200.00-$250.00, 30 rd USGI mags for $25.00ea and the list goes on. How depressing.

Local Gunshow today, Oly's were $6xx for the plinkers and $899 and slightly up for the other Oly models. No shortage of Oly's there at all.
Bushmasters were in the 1000-1200 range, maybe $100 more than before the election, but not much. There was a $1700 high end varmint rig, but noone was looking at it. Of course there were some dealers/gougers somewhat higher, but that also normal. Zero stripped lowers for sale. Some lowers with LPK installed and butt stock for $350ish. Its usually not a big show for EBR's, 1 serious dealer with a great selection of Oly's and a few other tables with a few rifles or glass top cases of parts. seemed like people were not real interested in the black guns present, but were gobbling up ammo at the one big dealer that was selling ammo. AK's seemed much more popular and more heavily discussed than AR's. Century AK's for $650 on up. I went for entertainment purposes (people and market watching), and to buy some full size targets. |

I think this is the gun show going on at the hotel I'm staying at tonight. Fireside Inn? We're in town for a show at the Leb. Opera House tonight. I walk into the hotel and damn if there isn't a gun show going on!! Might have to take a look around tomorrow AM before I head off for our next show tomorrow night. Can't buy anything, tho. Damn TSA regs...
