Wow! 3.4 eh? They were nice enough to give me a 2.6 percent increase on my retirement. Now, if I was already making what, 135K a year, that wouldn't be too bad.

Hael no! Those slimeballs get too much money from us already. It was supposed to be a 'privilege' to be able to serve your country in that fashion, not to be fashionably served by the country.
