The part that REALLY irks the shit out of me is that "the students at the predominately minority grade school, with support from teachers and school staff, wanted the name change"

Ludlum, the person it was originally named for was a local doctor and school board member for 40 years according to the article.
So they changed the name from someone who actually did something to improve the community to someone who has done nothing except be born a certain color. That speaks volumes. |
