I have been reading about the differece in HK triggers, but I think I will have to go to the fun shop and try each.

Depends on what you are used to shooting.

I prefer the variant one with all the HK's i have shot or owned. although when i do purchase my HK45 i beileve i am just going to get saftey w/o decock. I absolutely hated the lem triggers i have shot.

You have to shoot it to know whether or not YOU will like it.  Personally, I don't like it, however my brother thinks it awesome.

The shorter trigger reset is noteworthy.  I've short v.1 and LEM back to back and like the LEM better.

I don't care for it, but you might like it.

Foudn it strange to see the hammer start coming back only in the last 1/4" of trigger pull.

I should have mentioned I have a Walther P99 and don't mind it's trigger.

The first three replies were awesome by the way. I have the LEM trigger on my P2000. I happen to like it although the trigger pull is long, not sure if this is the case with the other variants on HK. For me it was more of a I don't want a safety to deal with if I'm drawing down on someone although training would make that safety negligable.
