I found that funny.
She really doesn't give a shit. Under normal circumstances, someone- Palin herself, her handlers, the cameraman, the newslady- would have rethought the background for that interview. But she doesn't care. Nor do most Alaskans. That's why I love her.

A long time ago, we used funnels and their heads stuck out the bottom.
You could cut them, blood drains out and they are restrained enough that they don't thrash around and beat/bruise themselves up. Didn't watch the vid, but suspect that's what you are seeing. |

Stick them in the funnel, slice the neck almost all the way but not quite off and let them sit for 1-2 minutes. Wash, rinse and repeat.
The purpose is to allow them to drain without flopping all around the yard. Joe |
