Remington Sendero 308. Put a 4.5-14 Nikon on it. Cleaned it up. Got the trigger nice for range work.

It may be too cold to go to the range this weekend. In the low 50's in Houston.

Same here, but it was between -20 and -10 today. And I have an open cab forklift.

I've been shooting at -45. OP, don't be a pussy!

I have one in .300 winmag that I rebedded, rebarreled, and generally improved considerably... its a shootin motherfucker.

In its stock configuration it shot well also but not quite as good as it does now.

lap the bore, have the action checked by a competent smith and trued if needed, then use some lampblack and thouroughly go over the bedding and stock... sometimes the AL. bedding block is not sufficient to clear all areas of the forend... make sure it floats.

timney adjustable trigger and good glass you will have a 1000 yard gun once you load what it likes to eat.

ETA: straighten out the picture on the damn wall!

Fuckin creepy how?

Only if you wake up at 2am and his face is about 3 inches from yours and he is just staring at you.

I don't know why he does it. He is 12 years old and started doing it when he was about 8 years old.

I keep him well fed.

I think he is a Norwegian Forest Cat.

That cat is CRAZY!

Nice rifle, though.  I really want a long range rifle but I figure they'll be around a bit longer than "assault weapons".

Pacs.........for you ,and everyone else that rolls their own, theres a very interesting article in the December issue of 'Handloader' about 308 loads for accuracy. Lots of info that Id never considered about shells, their strength, primers,etc.......check it out.

First time that term has been associated with handloading ammo.
