I just started up my HP notebook that's running Windows Vista Service Pack 1. The Recycle Bin icon has disappeared for some unknown reason.

How do I get it back??

Right click the desktop go to personalize.



Upper left hand corner area (in the sidebar) it will say change desktop icons.



Click that.



Select recycle bin



hit OK

Probably what happened, you right clicked on it and chose "Delete" instead of "Empty Recycle Bin".
