I've got some. $1000 each.
Take that, "price gouging" people (And to think I don't even own a rifle in 7.62X51mm... ) |

I just sold off some SA to buy some Portugese. I sold the SA for more then the Port cost so the sale went quite well. The SA buyer was happy also as he was going to flip it for more then I sold it for.
I love bartering............ Now back to your question, I believe AIM had a SMALL supply of it tho it's probably gone so you might want to carefully watch their site to see if it pops up again. |

If you're in the Greater Puget Sound Area these guys are in Lakewood

Mine shipped from aim today! I believe it was $59 each. I ordered it like 2 weeks ago. I think it was gone from the website in 2 or 3 days.

From the looks of their site they're out of pretty much everything but surplus bolt action rifles, and Russian ammo. |

What you used to be able to buy something for is completely irrelevant. Gas used to be $.60 a gallon. A Whopper meal used to be $.99 So what? They aren't any more. SA battle packs used to be $55. Guess what? Before that, they were $35. Lots of people balked at paying $55, saying "These used to be $35!" What did that get them? Standing there with no battle packs, wishing they could find them for $55 again. As for being "sour"... I'm the one with a bunch of battle packs shoved under my bed. How 'bout you? |

I just got a Cheaper Than Dirt catalog in the mail. SA battlepacks for $100 (200 rounds, 50 cents per bang). Don't know if they have any left, but worth checking.

Yeah, I read a thread here a while back where everyone was talking about being pissed when they went up from $30 some dollars. I obviously understand that things go up, but at a 40-50% price increase from a couple weeks ago it's just not that exciting of a deal anymore... I'm sure you understand. And I do have some myself, I just want more cause my box spring isn't made out of battlepacks quite yet. |

Is the Australian considered any good?
By buddy got some when he bought an AR10 and it seemed to shoot good. If there is no more or is hard to get SA what other countries ammo is good in 7.62? |

I haven't seen it online but several vendors had the battlepacks for $69 at the last two gunshows I hit (last week and the week before). I don't think it's dried up, other than online.

Sold off some SA I paid $147 per 980 rounds for $60.00 a BP [$420.00] then bought a case of BP Port for $400.00. Total amoritized out of pocket cost 14-15 cents a round. Such is the power of buying lots when the market is cheap and putting it back. And that not even the real cheap prices, I got into buying after the real surplus ammo pricing bottom had already hit. |
