Are these good guns? There is a guy selling a couple locally and I was thinking of picking them up. One is 8mm and the other is re-barreled to .308. Is this conversion reliable? I know this is GD, but I needed a quick response so I can let him know if I'm interested.

The prices are $150 for the 8mm and $200 for the .308. Thanks

Best mauser never made in Germany,I paid over 350.00 for one(really nicely sporterized in 30-06)large ring three lug plus bolt strong lock up.

They are a good action to build up.
