I work for Shell oil, and our VP over North and South America will be in our sales office today. We are supposed to come up with questions to ask.

Are there any questions that you guys would like for me to ask?

The meeting is at noon. There are about 40 people in our office so I will probably only get to ask one or two questions. I will write the best ones down and post the responses after the meeting.

Thanks guys.

I don't know.  Something about the hurricane machine maybe?  If it's going to be competitive with Halliburton's?

You could ask about the Obama-Lama and Nazi Pelosi's tax and environmental policies and how it is likely to effect the company.

Ask him for a raise!

Nahh, ask how new policy with the changing economy are likely to effect the company.

I have had formal convo's with small oil terminal owners and alot of them just wanted to show me pictures of their fishing trips or there vacation house in the keys. Ask them if they will adopt you?

Ok, private jet, hurricane machine and a raise. With that I may get escorted out of the building.

Funny, last time he was here he stopped by my office because he saw my rugby pictures. If he happens to come by again I might ask about the hurricane machine. He is British so his sense of humor is a little off, but we will see what happens.

Thanks. Still looking for good questions. I am thinking about looking up the oil shale stuff and asking where we stand on that issue/opportunity.

Thanks again.

Ask why they don't take some of their "windfall profits" and run an add campaign to educate the public. Go through line by line and disprove the lies being spread by the liberals about the industry.
Ask him why they keep bending over and spreading their ass cheeks instead of fighting back.

I am in the Bentonville office. We are the wal-mart team.

What is/where is WCK? I figured that there might be other Shell folks on here.

Ask him if they plan to continue any domestic exploration in the next 2 years. (I'm a landman, I'm curious.)

When do they plan on buying enough lobbyists to make EPA regional blends and oxygenate requirements disappear?

Yeah, because people don't work their way up in the world.  They suddenly spring into existence into an executive position, never knowing what it's like to live on less than $800,000 a year.

Babies are delivered by storks, too.

Yeah, I believe that he told us that his first job was working in a coal mine somewhere in England. Not a very glamorous job.
