Primers are the only thing that recently I've found a little difficulty in getting. I can get the right size but maybe not in the brand I normally use.
Someone on another forum I frequent about reloading said their distributor told them they had gone thru 80 MILLION primers since the election and that was about a week ago I read that. |

Ordered AK mags from Cope's on the 10th, delivered today though the items were removed from the site the day after order was placed.
Previous order was for mags last month, came in 3 days. I beleive there will be a temporary shortage until the distributors/importers get in gear and match demand. |

There's no BS. My main dealer is out of EVERY semi auto 223. I asked him for 100 PMags and he said, "I might be able to get 5, and there is a long backorder line ahead of you."
He told me they may get 200 in and then 50 representatives fight over them for their customers. The reasoning behind the panic buying may be bullshit, but the effects are very real. I barely snagged a Barrett 99 and had to find a Armalite AR10 locally. Good luck. |

I've got plenty of guns, mags and ammo and I'm running scared. I've updated my insurance rider to add a 30% premium to everything i own just in case. I really wish I would have followed through with my plan to buy a hundred lower receivers because now I would be one popular and rich son of a bitch.

Yeah, actually....
I had my dealer order 3 stripped lowers from Dans ammo almost 3 weeks ago. He was told they were in stock and would ship immediately. A week or so ago they still weren't in, so my dealer called and was told they would ship that day. Today, they still weren't in, but "we're at the top of the waiting list". 
I am not impressed with dansammo.com. It's one thing if you tell me up front that you're out of stock, or if you tell me on the follow up call that you erroneously failed to tell me the same thing. It's another thing entirely when you lie twice, and you will receive zero future business from me. Oh, and when I was talking with my dealer today.... He said that he talked to DPMS yesterday and they were 70,000 rifles behind now, with a 6-8 month lead time. Rock River will not even give an estimate of delivery time, and actually tried to talk him out of ordering a RR .308 and suggested he try someone else. My dealer also said that distributor X(can't remember the name, but largest one) was saying that basically every gun through the system was already allocated due to sales being so high. So, on the bright side, the socialist motherfuckers being in power is arming America. Let's just hope America uses them on the shitbags if they try any more BS. |

I did just get my pmags from Streichers on Tuesday. The lowers was a tongue in cheek joke, I can't find any instock lowers for any nearly normal pricing. I think I'm going to get complete guns instead of lowers. The complete guns are everywhere around here. Just can't find the lowers, and it looks like uppers are getting PITA, too. |

Well, my only gripe so far has been that I ordered five 5.56 AK mags from a place, and they sent me five 5.45 magazines. I ordered Bulgarian and they sent ProMag.
Shipping them back to be replaced.

I had the opposite happen to me last week.
I ordered a complete upper from Bushmaster 2 weeks ago, who told me it was backordered for approx 6-8 weeks. 1 week ago, a delivery truck pulls up with my complete upper, which brought a huge smile to my face! |

Bought another 5.56 AK the other day and wanted a stash for each piece. Now I need 9mm for my new RRA., dammit. |

I ordered an upper from CMMG on Oct. 15 and they still haven't made it; they're waiting on FSBs to come in.
Other than that, and the PMags I backordered just for kicks, I've received everything I expected to. YMMV. edit: And when I picked up the last stripped lowers I ordered (ordered pre-election, picked up post-election), there were several EBR's collecting dust on the dealer's shelves. |

I've walked in and bought lowers and other parts that day at the gun shop. I usually pick up a couple mags when the price is decent. There's stuff out there if you look. Gun show next month as well. woo hoo.

I went into a local gunshop on the 4th to buy a stripped lower. They had one, but I found out I needed a state permit to buy one (recently moved here). I asked them to hold it while I get my permit, they put my name on and put it in back. I didn't talk to them again until today when the permit came in. I was surprised they held it that long with the increased demand given that I didn't call or check in at all since the 4th. Even gave me the $120 price they were selling them for before the election. They will get more of my business in the future.
