Here a 'Republican' Congressman is telling us that the tax dollars being used to bailout the auto industry isn't, in fact, our money.
I guess the government is now entitled to anything they want and as much as they want. This party is incredibly fucked. |
|
It's not my money?
So, obviously, the government doesn't get its money from my taxes then. So I'll just stop paying them. |
|
I guess these guys seemed to have forgotten:
1- Who votes them into office. 2- Who pays their wages. 3- Who they work for. |

Sigh. Why do we elect people like this? Because a lot of people will simply vote for anyone who has a 'R' after their name rather than 'that other guy'. As long as we keep playing this 'lesser of two evils' game just expect more and more of this kind of crap. |

Stay classy, GOP! Stick to the exact same shit that just cost us ... well, maybe everything.

On November 4, 2008, Knollenberg was soundly defeated, garnering only 43 percent of the vote to Peters' 52 percent.
It's douches like this that are ruining America! |

I see voting for the Republicans has really paid off...
I've had it. Voting for the lesser of two evils got us where we are today. The Republicans continue to believe that we will vote for them no matter what shit they do because the alternative is so bad. You know what? The alternative is here (likely for 8 years). I'm just not playing anymore. If they want me back, they can come begging on their knees. In the mean time, I'm going to figure out somewhere else to park my campaign contributions. ETA: Just in case I wasn't clear...it ain't going to be the Democrats. |

Our constitution is written on toilet paper...might as well not have one. The government will do whatever the fuck it wants to. |

Cavuto is going to have a breakdown one of these days. Thats when it begins.

I'm up for a little protest down in DC. I thought the idea of just stopping and pulling out a grill and cooking some hotdogs and burgers sounded pretty good to me.

It's NOT "Our" money people!!!
Good God (!)....get with the program damnit! Wealth/"Money" is CREATED by the government and the ONLY reason that "some" have more than others is that they #1...Had an "Unfair" advantage over other people or #2...cheated more "Deserving" folks out of it who, despite being highschool drop-out's (Or, these days, ALOT of "Graduates") who can barely read and who would NEVER do ANYTHING resembling an effort to save, invest in themselves, work three jobs and put-off immediate gratification for a better reward down the road SHOULD have that wealth or #3...are Kennedys(And we can't ALL be Kennedys!). I'm glad the honorable Congress-critter was able to set the record straight for the "glorious" future in front of us. BTW.....Starting tomorrow...? All ugly people are now BEAUTIFUL!!! We ARE fucked! |
|
2/3rds of the GOP are against the bailout, 2/3rds of the Dems are for it. It will get passed when Barry takes over. Remember that it was Biden who said it was patriotic to pay higher taxes, and that sob will be in charge soon.

Watched the actual Congressional testimoney today. One of the car execs made a reference to the car industry spending "your" money––meaning Congress's bailout money. The Representative/Senator (don't even know which) came unglued stating quite forcefully, that it wasn't Congress's money, it was the "peoples" money or words to that effect. All-in-all I thought the testimony I saw (except for Chris Dodd's) was pretty tough. The Union rep also should have stayed home. All that being said, the car companies will probably get their $$ and all of this will be replayed in the coming months.

"It isn't your money! Now, you wanted me to be on the show, so let me talk!"
No no... I think you've said enough right there. Thanks for letting your true feelings show, Congressman Asshole. |
