Brady's "common sense" gun laws are NO GUNS. They were totally in favor of the ban in DC, and don't think for a mili second, that they would utter any ounce of a protest if Washington were to propose a handgun ban for the whole country, or even a blanket ban on everything that shoots. They just say they don't want to take away ALL the guns because they know they wouldn't get any support at all.

God I hate that guy.

When hes not banning guns hes got his own damn show on A&E where he gets together with families and tries to get their loved ones into rehab.

If you didn't realize by 9:00 pm on 11/4 that we were fucked then you are living in a serious state of delusion. Unless he is just on this last season, I have see the show an never see anyone called rahm emanuel. There is Jeff VanVonderen, Candy Finnigan and Ken Seeley.

It is my sincere hope that should this ever become law the Supreme Court would strike it down. Now that Heller has defined a right it would require a huge leap to say that right can be abridged without due process.

Yes, but the restrictions that Heller mentions are (though it doesn't say so specifically) are restrictions that have gone through due process. Right now you have to be under indictment, convicted of a crime or adjudicated mentally defective (along with a couple of other due process induced restrictions). Putting someone's name on a list because you're afraid of them SHOULDN'T pass muster for denying someone a constitutional right. SHOULDN'T!!! As I recall there is something in that old piece of paper about depriving people of life or liberty without due process of the law being a no-no.

I guess the upshot of all this-whether the sheep believe it nor not-is that the Constitution was such a brilliant piece of work.  Timeless.  What we are witnessing now was forseen by the FF because they lived it in their liftime.

Dems like Rahm Emanuel are crazier than fucked sheep.  Bottom line.  Every liberal administration we get "lowers the bar" more and more each time.  I can just see the power of the federal government being abused by some bureaucrat to ruin someones life by making it so hard to own a firearm by restricting his right to travel as to cause him to give up the right to keep and bear arms.  It's hard to overcome such odds.  Maybe not even in this administration.  It's hard to say.  Stack the deck of the SCOTUS in Obama's favor, and we're at the mercy of a machine that would be hard to beat in court.

If there is a way to circumvent the BOR, these assholes will do it.  The thoroughness of the FF is the only thing that will allow our Republic to withstand such assaults on our liberties.

Return to the Clinton days when we had massive shootouts over suspected violation of the NFA and yet terrorists training in flight schools.
