I realize that I don't have to buy it if I don't want to.... but the prices in the EE are getting totally out of hand! I mean, 2 weeks ago lower receivers that you could have bought all day long for $109 are being posted for $250! That is out of control!
People with 5 post troll accounts from 2005 are trying to sell chreap-ass lowers for Colt prices. This is fuckin' ridiculous! So I say fuck you, Mr. tryin'-to-profit-off-the-panicing-masses EE troll account user. You are an ASSHOLE, and I hope you don't sell your Oly lower for $250.... instead I hope the ATF visits you and shoots you dog!

Or perhaps you could try making the best of it and selling something when the prices are as high as they are. Don't really know what to tell you, that's just how it works. If there are willing buyers, then these buyers have reasoned that the purchase is better than their next best alternative, and it can't be described as anything but a fair transaction. We can call the sellers idiots all day long, if nobody is buying. But if they are, then it means the price is worth it. And more importantly, it means that the sellers are doing the market a favor (I'm serious ) by making an item in VERY high demand available. A lot of places are flat sold out right now, but these guys still have some. Know why? Because they're charging a price that guarantees there are some left. Everybody that's charging "fair" prices on EBR related items is out of stock, backordered, or they will be very soon. It's creating a shortage. That's they're right, but it doesn't change the fact that their "nice" pricing is allowing people to buy them out completely. Cheap lowers that aren't in stock ain't much use, know what I mean?  |

You should have bought 2 weeks ago when you said prices were lower; no one to blame but yourself.
No matter the asking price; you've only been gouged when you agree to pay. Prices never get out of control, they only rise to the point that there aren't any buyers; then they settle down until people begin buying again. Capitalism. Along with the right to free healthcare, affordable housing, a college education.........and the rst of that bullshit; the right to affordable firearms doesn't exist. |
