I'm slightly drunk and bored. I wanna know if you believe you've found your soul mate. It doesn't matter if you're married or dating him or her. It also doesn't matter if they left you... Poll incoming for hippie ideology for the win.

I was fortunate enough to find my soul mate at an early age. I didn't get to "play the field" or any of that –– and honestly, I am fine with it.

She is such a good wife to me I don't miss it.

God has blessed me well.

Isn't that an illegal sex act you're discussing?

As in the famous words of Jay, "there is only one girl in the world.  One girl, with many faces."

A soulmate is only a matter of proximity.

Yes. My wife was as cool as it could get. Then I came here and read all the trainwreck divorce threads and found out she was even cooler than that.

I'm a lucky man.

Yes, it is crazy.  We complete each others thoughts, and sentences all the time.  We think the same, and act the same.  It is scary really.

Yes, but she wouldn't marry me. She held out for some pretty boy that can't keep a job but looks (I have to admit) better on her arm than I would.

I'm not bitter tho.

Kinda funny.

When my SO first got together, none of my friends could figure it out.  She and I were polar opposites.

I like a good book––she's a CPA
I like to shoot guns/archery––she teaches dance
I'm from more suburban/urban roots––she was born and raised in the country
I'm somewhat cynical––she's more of an optimist
I initially wasn't sure about her––she says she "knew" all along

Wierd how that works out.  I certainly wasn't looking when I found her.  She pursued me.

I don't know how to explain it, but it wasn't that way at first.  I guess after 12 years of living together we have kinda "melted" into the same personality and tastes, etc.

Stupid stuff really, when someone around us is coughing, I usually mumble "choke bitch" kidding around. Well she has picked up that habit, and will catch herself thinking or even mumbling that when she is seeing patients.

She really hates when she gets a patient by the last name of "Sanchez"

I have been married for 8 years now and I can honestly say that she is my soulmate.  She is the greatest part of my life.  This is my second marriage so when I compare my first marriage to my second one, I take nothing for granted.  I appreciate my wife because I know what a bad marriage can be.  This knowledge makes me feel blessed for having the kind of relationship that my wife and I have.  She is not only my wife, but also my best friend!!

I was married 33 years last August.  We dated 2 years before getting married.  I'll keep you in my prayers because I can't even begin to imagine life without my wonderful wife.  I'm sure your beloved is home with the Lord and waiting until the Lord calls you, too.  Until then... keep the faith!!!
