I got the Century Int. Arms L1A1 FAL a couple days ago but have not yet received it in the mail to inspect.  I know that the L1A1s are inch receivers, but my rifle has the IMBEL receiver.  Will it accept both metric and inch mags, or only one or the other?  I want to order some from DSA so the mags and the rifle arrive around the same time, I just dont know which mags to get... inch or metric.  If the rifle does accept both, do you recommend one mag over the other???

If its imbel its metric.Most of the L1A1 kits were put together on the metric recievers.A metric mag will work in an inch rifle[Although losely].An inch mag will not fit in a metric rifle.The mags ,the hold open on the last shot on metric rifles and the folding handle on the inch are the main diffrences between the two.Your rifle has inch parts so it wont hold open on the last shot even though it has a metric reciever
