You're less than an hour away from New Orleans and you HAVE to ask?  But, there is a cool natural history museum, and if you go to the Capital bldg. downtown it has an awesome view, and you can see the bullets in the wall where gangsters killed some big-time politician (I should know his name, I know!) back in the day.

I have been to New Orleans before and I will probably try to get there at least one night. I am looking for something to due without traveling to NO every night.
