I gotta get a new computer so I play some of these games, pIII500s aren't really cutting it anymore.  Ugh.

It is just a so-so game, that is if you can get it to run on your computer. Check out the technical assistance forum at ubisoft.com and it appears that Ghost Recon was a rushed release and as a result is full of bugs. If you have a 3dfx card forget it only direct x 8.1 supported graphic boards will work.

Operation Flashpoint is a much better game and had extensive playtesting before it was sold in the U.S.  

I've got both games and a 32Meg DDR ATI card running on a 1.3G P4....

RECON is awesome and has a much better interface in controlling the game than Op Flashpoint....

besides, flashpoint makes my puter crash sometimes.

Go with RECON, you'll play it a lot more and yes, it is 1st person.

(I still think Delta Force kicks ass too LOL.)
