While in the military, I completed several combat oriented courses with the Army and Army guard.  These days what used to be called foxholes are now defensive fighting positions(DFP's).
Did the name offend queers or something??  I have noticed the names of things change in relation to the numbers of dykes and queers or drunk Indians offended.

Actually I read that it was changed during the kinder gentler army (clinton) not to offend women members.
