I refuse to answer:

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived
of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Absolutely NOT!  It's against strict company policy to use the internet for personal business.

(Does anybody else here work from 7:00am to 3:30pm?)

I wouldn't dare shrink the window down and scroll to hide the evil-work-unfriendly-logos.  Nah...not me!

I'm still waiting for the AR15.com site that looks something like an Excel spreadsheet....hehe

Here at work is the only place I have enough time to sit on the net....  Working at an ISP I just tell them I am monitoring the net to make sure everything is up and running fine... [;)]

As far as reactions, most of my co-workers including bosses ask me firearms related questions.

Ya.  I check in every so often.  Usually when I get back to my desk after doing several other things.

I check in here from work through a proxy because the firewall/proxy doesn't allow access, and my co-workers know.  Most are ex-military and ok with it.  What's odd is that one of the board members may become my boss soon, which could be very interesting. [:D]

I do, and I am the boss.

Can't fire myself, now can I?

And MY boss, the Assistant Superintendant, really dosen't care one way or the other. I install golf games for him on his PC, I can take home network servers for LAN parties.

I never come to this site during work hours.  But hypothetically, if I were to come here, my boss and coworkers would not know about it.  Hypothetically speaking of course.

Are you kidding, this is the best way to relieve the stress of idiot realtors banging on you. Or to give me something else to think about when someone is attempting to explain why the car reposession and being evicted from his apartment are actually reasons why he should have a mortgage loan.
BTW if anyone has any mortgage questions...I think I owe this site and members for all of the information you've given. E-mail or respond to the thread.

Rates?....we don't need no stinkin'rates.

Hell Yeah, but I work in IT.

When I am not being asked to fix some idiot end users screw up or show some user how to turn their computer on, I log on here and Post.

I admit it.

I need to quickly scroll past the top evil ar15.com header, so my co-workers won't be intimdated by the angry black rifle and sometimes threatning banner ad which may contain the word "gun".

It would be interesting to cross check the members who surf the 'net at work with those who in the past bitched and whined about union members not being productive. Of course, I'm sure THEY have perfectly good reasons for not keeping their noses to the grindstone and being as productive as they can be for their duration of their work period.

Myself? It's kind of difficult to connect to the Internet from the cab of a locomotive. I've asked trainmasters to allow me logon onto the 'net from their company computers and briefly check things out during my breaks, but those occassions are pretty few and far in between.

I sometimes surf while having lunch in my cubicle.  I just stay away from any threads I think might be "frowned upon," like BOTD.  The two guys that work directly under me know I do, but they are very gun friendly.

Hey, Boomer, go snooze away a few hours in your nice featherbedded union job. [:p]  The month you break 100 hours per week for each week, while getting paid only your straight salary, that's when you can bitch at me for saying you union types are lazy jerkoffs!

Maybe you should talk to an extra board brakeman, conductor, or engineer.
