In this thread I postulated that Gov.Palin's environmental policies were personally responsible for the extinction of the Alaskan penguin.

I've since noticed that comment posted in a few humorous thread here.

I was considering posting that coment as "one of many" in posts to the major MSM blog and political sites in an attempt to get that "fact" widely disseminated.

I'll include all of the appropriate disclaimers about my "source" for the info, and I'll use real email addresses (I have a couple of dozen available) in case anyone tries to contact me about it. I'lll also track where it's been posted and if I begin to see it elsewhere I'll track that as well (might make for an amusing book after the election).

Given that the majority of the people I've told this factoid in real life are completely clueless I think it has a reasonable chance of being picked up as yet another example of Ms. Palin's "reckless disregard" for the environement.

So does the groupthink believe it's worth the effort?

Sure, why not?  Even just for the entertainment value it is worth it.
