I'd go with the same setup as posted above BUT you can have the PSO sight and I'll use the rest of the $$$ on more ammo.

BTW if anyone is selling an SAR 2 setup like that let me know, Christmas is coming and I want one.

I'm not sure $1000.00 would buy a "weapon system", maybe a nice gun though.

I'd probably go with an STG-58 from DSA.

My M1A was $1000.

Last summer, I bought a pre-ban 1979 Colt SP-1 AR 15 for $1000 tax included.( Sorry, I love to rub that in ! )

I guess for a grand, you could get a post-ban Bushmaster, some 30round mags, and some SA 300 round battle packs.

Or a SAR / Kalashnikov, some mags, ammo and a pistol too.

You omitted the rest of the FA parts, not to mention the lawyer and fines. Prison won't cost you much though.....

$1000,no LE weapons, all rules apply.I would either choose an AKM,case of ammo several mags and one of those Chicom Cest pouches.

I might also opt for a Mossberg 9200A1 shotgun,1 extended mag tube,1 case of S&B 00 Buck,50rds of Flechette,1 continental rifled slug choke and 20rds of sabot slugs, one used B square scope mount and a Wal-Mart red dot pistol scope.

Either way would be less than ideal but without more money I can't buy decent optics so what is the point of extreme accuracy.

I suppose I could go for a good used bolt or lever gun with an optic already on it and use the remainder of the money to buy a Winchester Defender and a bunch of buckshot and rifle ammo but I'd prefer to have my M4A3,.338 Lap,Mossberg 9200A1 which have over 1000 worth of accessories each.

If I could do it all over again......

I'd buy another preban Olympic Arms CAR-15 or preban Colt Sporter for $700 each w/ magazines. I bought 'em in 1996 or 1997. Just had to rub in those old preban prices..........

Well, off the top of my head, right now I'd drive down to a certain local gun shop, and get either a VEPR II .223 or 7.62 K, both  in stock at $549. Then I'd get as much ammo and mags as I could afford w/the change. I'll stick to iron sights. I guess I'd get about 10 mags, and 3 cases ammo. ($20 a mag, $~100 case of ~1000 rnds).

Later,
Justin

Go to Santa Ana, CA near Flower St. and buy 1OZ of cocaine for $600-750 depending on prevailing market.

Go to East L.A.
Approach a gangbanger(easy to spot, will have tattoo of the street/bario he lives at somewhere visible) and say, "Hey Holmes!! Check it man, I need a gat to wax this pinche cabron from around way eh."
OR

Go to South Central L.A.
Approach a gangbanger(easy to spot, guy in a $100K car bumping rap music. More than likely with shiny 20" rims). Say " Yo, wad it be like? Say man I need a gat to bust a cap in this punk ass g. I gots the shizzat yo. Hook a brotha up"

Talk to right guy and you get yourself a nice full auto AK, Tec9, or MAC for $750 or less (The price of an OZ. of cocaine that can be cut into crack and sold of for 2x that amount) Or you might even wanna take the O Z and get yourself some Vitamin B and cut some out for yourself. Spend the $100 on ammo. $150 for some gin and juice and cruising for ho's

You guys gotta know how shop!!!!

Does this include the price of moving to a free country, or is that seperate? OH, a question: What are the Swiss immigration and firearm laws?
