I was at the range today and someone showed me one of their catalogs. Their prices seem suspiciously low. I was wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge of the company and their products/service.

Heard nothin' but good about them on arfcom. |
I've dealt with em.
Their prices aren't suspicious... before the next ban you'll see shit triple overnight... GET EM WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!1! ETA: They jacked shit way up before the AWB. "GET IT WHILE YOU CAN" was, and still is, seen a lot with them. They almost seem to look forward to raping us again. Ah well... you'll get what you order w/o problem. |
By "suspicious" I mean a bargain isn't really a bargain if they take your money and don't ship anything, or send you shoddy knockoffs advertised as brand name gear.
Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll be placing an order soon! |

Bought XD mags a while back during a sale. Prompt delivery, great price.
that reminds me, they're on sale again. |
I like them. You have to keep in mind some of the obvious stuff - $15.00 AK mags are painted, $250.00 used guns are priced that way because they're worth $250.00.
I've bought several things from them and I've been pleased with what I got. |
Shitty company.
... I'm just bitter that they wont ship handguns to CA. They're actually a great company, no complaints with what I've ordered in the past. |
Great company and will work hard to get you what you want.
Ask for Marshall, really helped my unit out with a purchase we made prior to deployment. Top Notch. |
Follow up question:
Any chance they also give dealer discounts, or am I expecting too much? |
They didn't when I had my C&R.. that may have changed. also, I'm a satisfied, repeat customer. |
Excellent company, and they use to give discounts on firearms to FFL's, I am not sure they still do this. On accessories including magazines they seem to be top-notch on prices.
Price on request. Evidently I type too slow. |

+1 for CDNN for several years now.
+1 on ask for Marshall. I have randomly dealt with him a couple of times and they have been positive for both info and then later purchase. I have his card and he is "J. Marshall Jones" per the card, so I think they may be on commission since it says to "ask for". They often buy a lot of closeout stuff that is first rate so you can get some good prices. Last purchase (with Marshall (no association it was accidental but I will ask for him in the future)) was a Steyr .50BMG |
Do some people feel better by paying more for things?
CDNN is good to go. |
The day after the ban ended, I bought several G-17 drop free mags for about $14 each. I was very suspicious.
Funny how no suppliers ever ran out of brand new drop free Glock mags during the ban. |

I bought a ton of stuff from them to resell on eBay from 2002-06, the majority of it was good. (probably @ 1% junk) They buy the inventory of out-of-business gun & accessory companies, and overstocked, discontinued, or blemished items from companies still in business. Most of this is perfectly fine, but it was bought discounted and they can sell it cheap. The really REALLY cheap items are cheap for a reason. IE the cheap revolver grips they sell were from a stock maker that folded, and many of them won't color match- one side would be tan walnut and the other side red walnut. I don't know if they still do, but you used to be able to get on their "dealer" program by making a one-time purchase of $1000 or more. This would get you a permanent 10-15% discount. |
Me too. I have a gun sitting at the FFL from them right now, as a matter of fact. |
I've NEVER been disappointed. Kind of like "Sportsmans Guide" used to be a long time ago, but mucho higher quality, dedicated to firearms and related stuff... I just wish I had more discretionary income! B2 |

Ha Ha, don't we all. If I had my way, I'd own ALL of teh gunz. |

By the time you get their catalog, many of the good deals are out of stock.

Does anyone have the dealer code so you can access the prices off the website ? The 'POR' is freaking frustrating.
Good company. I've ordered from them several times with zero problems.
CDNN are great people. Over 4 years I've probably bought close to $1500 worth of assorted stuff from them. I'm sure that's not unusual.
Purchase with confidence. |
It sucks that they jacked up their shipping rates 50% a couple months ago.
Love their $15 red dot sights* though. I have a couple mounts with integral rings, and they will only accept 1" tubes. Those are getting hard to find. *for fun guns only, not for serious purposes |
With the exception of AIM, they are often the lowest priced vendor with an excellent reputation. I buy stuff from them all the time and its always what they say. If I had more money, a lot of it would be spent there. |
Their products and service are great. I've done at least 3 orders from them and they always ship on time and product are always as listed. They usually have freebies that they throw in also. I've got 2 pair of range glasses free form them in the past.
great company. sign up for their emails the have a close out/ special/ part with you money omg you need this every week.
I wish they still listed handgun prices in the catalog like they used to.
Probably afraid of liberals, or lawyers (or liberal lawyers) |
Get on their mailing list and the catalogues come with prices listed (mostly). Their online catalogue -- not so much. |

CDNN prices are my personal standard.
I see something CDNN has over at Gander Mountain and gag at the other end of the price spectrum. If you desire something new and specific you can fondle before you buy, like to be ignored at the gun counter, wait 4 hours for the CSR's to complete your transaction, be harassed the whole time, and pay through the nose, go to a "box" outdoors store. If you can choose something from a wide selection of surplus/discontinued/trade-in firearms, find a local FFL and shop with CDNN. I got my NIB 9mm FN High Power SFS, high polish blue with walnut stocks for $450. I got a 'very good' condition Beretta 92FS I used as a base gun for a presentation piece for a friend after he returned from the sandbox for $350 or so, and aside from a couple of small (1/4") scratches on the frame's finish, it was perfect. And remember, if you can find a local shop to do the transfer for a reasonable price, make sure to buy some assorted swag like a half-case of ammo or a LULA to say thanks for facilitating the deal you just got. |
