LOL.  After spending a few hours reading that message board, it is a wonder what would make them happy.

Those fools STILL have no idea how to deal with Sarahcuda.

The investigation will not give them what they want.  No matter the outcome, DU will whine like first time butt hurt prison bitches.

This is such bullshit and a waste of time.

yup, but if there is anything there the storm will settle down before the election and we can spin it if need be... better than a few days before the election.

Oh you can bet the report will find all sorts of “supposed” wrong doing by Palin… the fact she violated no law or the fact she acted well within her authority will be footnotes.

You cannot take on the Establishment the way she has without making it mad as hell.

Wouldn't it be nice if what came out of this is that Wooten, a true scumbag if there ever was one, was fired from the Troopers and his union rep., John Cyr, was exposed for the scumbag-protecting bastage that he is . . .

Anyone who would defend an Alaska State Trooper that:

- Poached a moose
- Threatened to kill Palin's father
- Tased his 10-year-old son
- Chugged a beer, popped the top off another and chugged
half of it, then jumped into his Trooper vehicle and headed
 to work
- Picked a bar fight, then flashed his badge when he was going
to get his ass kicked, THEN jumped into a vehicle and proceeded
to chase the guy only to get pulled over by another Trooper

Here's the scumbag himself:

There's more to this story. What matters most is that Pat Wellington, a former head of the Alaska State Troopers, would have never put up with this kind of action by a Trooper. The AST has gone downhill since the 80s when they engendered respect from Alaska's citizens.

Monaghan, as the head of the Alaska Department of Public Safety, deserved to be fired for allowing this kind of behavior by an Alaska State Trooper. What's worse, he has baggage like this at the Anchorage Police Department where he used to be the police chief.

I'm wondering if Mr. Cyr, Wooten's Union Rep., can explain exactly why this type of behavior is anything other than a firing offense. It would be in the private sector: [email protected]

Then there's the former head of the Child Support Enforcement Division about five years ago. He was accused by multiple women of sexual harassment and intimidation. He was stationed in Anchorage but allowed to work in Juneau while the investigation was underway. He interfered with that investigation from Juneau. He was allowed to retire rather than lose his job. There are still questions as to why he was allowed to do this. Yes, he was a shop steward. But he also had connections to the former governor's campaign (Murkowski, not Palin) and his personal efforts to win the union vote for him.
