But it is very likely now that McCain will be taking a step toward the center for the rest of the campaign.  He has the Cuda to hold down the conservative base, and McCain has always had appeal to the center.  So don't think he's abandoning us in the next few weeks if he starts centering out a bit.

I don't care about any lies he tells as long as he keeps Comrade Obama out of the Oval Office.

that's because Reagan was the conservative on the ticket.  McCain is not the headline conservative.  

McCain needs to be Mr. Niceguy from here on out.  Let Sara have the knives and let her take the hard shots.  Just make sure he doesn't give the appearance that she is taking over the campaign.
