Everybody needs to feel special, and it looks like many are doing that by pretending to have nonexistant maladies. Sounds like most of those people need therapy - to find out why they feel the need to handicap themselves for attention.

Couwenberg replied that he was suffering from a medical condition called pseudologia fantastica, which compels victims to tell tall tales and mix fiction with fact. So, let me get this straight. Al Gore was ill when he claimed he invented the internet, fought fires in Texas, et nausea. |
