Just saw a report on (ghasp!!) CNN.  Showed some Marines with their nice new MOLLE II equipment.  They had thier rucksacks in the dirt rolling them around.  This equipment is so new, I don't think they are being made in desert camo yet.  The Marines were putting water or glue, some kind of liquid, on the packs and pouring dirt on them.  Really did quite well at camouflaging them.  Just thought that was pretty interesting.

Drag an Eagle Vest trough the dust and watch all of htose little pores fill up with dust.I imagine that if you got it wet first it would really intensify that effect.
