You got ripped off. There is no way that is pre-ban. Note how there are very few brown spots.
The gun show guys don't care if you get in trouble as long as they get their sale.

In Basic Training we had this kid who kept calling his magazines "Banana clips" which ended up getting us smoked constantly.
During our FTX at lunch chow one of the guys unpeeled a banana and stuffed it in the kids weapons mag-well and cycled the bolt, smooshing banana into the star chamber and said "There, Banana clip BITCH!" The Drills couldn't help but laugh.

Banana clips are so 19902. I prefer the Mango Mag. Much more compact. Tactical greens and oranges.
