for this poll, cheating includes ANY physical and MOST inappropriate verbal communications.

For a SO, its cheating if either party is under the impression/assumption that it is a monogamous relationship.

It isn't my nature. My wife deserves better. I deserve better. I also have to live with myself.

There is very little to gain (some immediate pleasure) and TONS to bad that comes from infidelity.

I don't sleep in a bed of pit vipers. I can, but don't.

Seriously, I've never cheated in a relationship. I have no problem breaking something off if I find myself interested in someone else...but, then again, I'm not dumb enough to get married.

No. Never. There is no reason for it. You either devote yourself to the relationship or you remove yourself from it. Someone who cheats on the person they are supposed to be closest to, cannot be fully trusted by anyone. That is a major character flaw.

I also just about cannot believe the amount of first-hand experiece that posters here have with seeing people who are abusing welfare. The number of those stories are just about unreal.

i have found in my short lifespan that people that do are generally douchbags. they have no regard for their spouse why should they give a shit about me or anyone else.

I have walked away from more than a few "freinds" when i found them to be such people.

this doesn't apply to people i know where both are open and live that "lifestyle". simply to those running around in secret behind the others back.

If your that miserable with your spouse that you have the need for a new relationship, your miserable enough to divorce them.

Never been married , and been single for about two years now.........but I know the heartache of an unfaithful woman.Trust is under rated these days.

I wouldnt do it to a girl I loved, and never have..........Id break it off first .

Well I have swinger friends... and I am not a swinger myself. But my understanding is they either swing as a couple with another couple or they have lists of people they agree to for the other, or consent to a given situation. The foundation of open relationships is trust and communication. I know that sounds completely crazy to people who would never contemplate being with another person themselves. But to swingers they have a set of rules just as you do... while your's might prohibit any outside involvement... their's prohibit any outside a defined scope. The same really, yet different as well. I personally could never swing, not because I could never be with another woman, but because I could never stand to see another man with my woman while we were together. Much easier to remain with your partner... well, maybe with a second woman added to the mix if she is into that.

I would never cheat on my wife. I have dated more than one woman at a time, but all of the relationships were very casual and nonexclusive on either part.
