In mustard FTW!

I like mustard the best too. My wife can't handle them.
She made an awesome Cesar's salad and I opened a small tin of anchovies. That did not go over well but yummie. |
Mmmmmmmm. Smoked and olive oil packed. With some Frank's red-hot or green tabasco on ritz crackers.

Sardines +
Anchovies + Pickled herring A Caesar salad without anchovies isn't. |

Good stuff, Maynard. Salt, lots of pepper, Louisiana Hot Sauce on a saltine with a cold beer.

I love sardines in a can, but I just had about a dozen of them right off the grill yesterday (whole, from portugal) and they were even better. |
they're tolerable.
made myself try them, to know if i can stomach them or not, in case of SHTF, and that's all that's available. they're better than starving |
For the ones that answered, " smells like cooter", I suggest finding a new one.

Home movies,or Dr. Katz? ETA: I love sardines. I like the ones that come in oil, with the green peppers. |
love em. on crackers, with my own mustard, and dashes of hot sauce.......
Love em in hotsauce, but I have to be in the mood for them. I eat maybe 2 cans a month.

I never went Crew Chiefin' TDY without those canned Delights & crackers in My helmet bag.
I'd crack open a can on the flight deck & the Air Crew would be sniffin' around & wonderng if We had Female PAX on board! Also LOOOOVE the Kipper Snacks & anchovies. The Ol' Crew Chief |
I think i agree with this............ |

The higher quality have a tuna ish texture. don't skimp and buy the cheap ones.
I can only eat them in the dark, all the innards and stuff grosses me out,but they sure are tasty ,only w/mustard though!
Oh!,by the way,a few of you need to throw your girlfriend back! |
Love them plain (in oil). My grandfather got me started eating them sitting on the back porch (Grandma would not allow them to be eaten in the house)
+1 I've tried an loved the mustard iterations, but I cannot fathom why I haven't tried the hot sauce ones. |
I used to be able to eat them, but they screw up my stomach something awful now.
had some last night.
This poll was a perfect place for a choice of: "Smells like Pie" and you blew it. Edit; If i knew what 'cooter' was I may not have written this |
I like 'em in all varieties.
I think they might even be good for you. |
tried 'em...just to see if i could survive on them in a SHTF situation

Another vote for the ones in mustard and hot sauce. They are also pretty good from a street vendor grilled over charcoal, on a slab of French bread.

Very high in protein and calcium. Very high in fat, but the good kind with lots of Omega-3 fatty acids |
