1.  My mom's spaghetti recipe.  I can eat no other.  It's a spicy yet slightly sweet sauce.
2.  A good steak, preferably sirloin or porterhouse.  Medium well (barely pink center).
3.  Fried turkey and my mother's cornbread dressing.
4.  Tie between Sesame Chicken from Kim Son or the pizza at Buster's on the San Diego boradwalk, across from Cornado Island and the Navy Base where the SEALS train.
5.  My special mashed potatoes.

2.  Mom's mashed potatoes with the red eye gravy she makes from the above.

3.  Mom's garden-fresh green beans with sauteed bacon and onion.

4.  Oxtails Roman style.  Like Jeff Smith details in one of his books.  Served over spago.

5.  Any fresh from the oven bread.  Foccacia with rosemary and Parmasean rocks!

- New York Strip, cooked medium
- Lamb Vindaloo with the correct amount of vindaloo, not the weak ass stuff they normally serve here in the states.
- Pasta (doesn't matter what type) with either an alfredo or meat sauce.
- Enchiladas Poblanas (or just about anything that involves some chicken meat covered in a good Mole sauce)
- Just about any kind of bread, tortilla, paratha, etc. especially when still warm from the oven.

- Honorable mention goes to Dag Gogi Bokeum.

2. Cevice- I never found one I didn't like.

3. Double Whataburger with cheese, bacon, and jalapenos(just because I can't have one in CA).

4. Boudin from Pe-te's in Houston if they are still there.

5. Toss up between bread pudding with raisins whiskey sauce, or Hagan-Daas Pineapple and cocnut ice cream.

Anyway you made me remember that one of my favorite foods should be Any fricking thing that you can get at Pe-Te's!

I lived in the Police State of CA for a while and I missed Whataburgers and Ninfa's green sauce.

I was always more partial to the chorrizo con queso at Ninfa's. Big bowl of oooey-gooey melted jack cheese with chorrizo mixed into it. Eat it with a spoon, and be prepared for all the grease to act as colon lube and send you to the comode for about an hour of NBC training!

1.) any dessert, be it ice cream, pie(my mom makes a great dutch apple crumb pie, as well as sweet pottato), or cake..YUM! And no I'm not fat, I'm 120 lbs..

2.) Lobster or shrimp..mmm...seafood..

3.)My mom's homemade lasagna(my dad loves it and he is full Italian and she isn't at all!!)

4.)Prime Rib Medium Rare...(There isn't nothing like bloody meat)

5.)Tie between Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and My uncle Mack's mashed potatoes(I don't know what he does to them, but it wouldn't be christmas dinner without them!)
