I took my AT-4 out of the safe (worth more than some of my guns) and later found that the cocking handle was not attached anymore.  Must have happened when I was carrying it around on my back on the 4th to scare the neighbors....

Anyways.  I did find the green cocking handle on the porch but don't know what holds it to the silver/metal piece in the AT-4 that actually pulls the bolt/cocker thingy back.  It doesn't appear that it would be a cotter pin or screw or nut or bolt???  I'm thinking some kind of roll pin?

Any owners can you post up a pick of what holds the cocking handle to the unit?

Here is a pic,  you can see where the handle is missing, where it says, "cocked" it should have a green handle there you can open up and pull/push forward.

If SWAT rolls out on some PVC pipe (by ATF's definition) then I guess they'd feel a bit dumb, eh?

How can I get one?

A Stinger missile launcher tube would be cool, too.

And a TOW missile launch tube.

Perhaps I'm a pussy, but I would never buy or possess one of those things, nor an "inert" grenade.  Not worth the potential hassle IMO.  We've all seen the search warrants for no-knocks listing "witness A observed several objects that appeared to be grenades in the subject's possession.....".

IIRC, I think the ATF actually listed a witness sighting of "grenades" on the application for search warrant, helping to justify the raid on the Branch Davidians, even though it was well known David Koresh bought surplus inert grenades and made plaques with them.

Screw that.  Too dangerous nowadays to even create the APPEARANCE of wrongdoing.  Again, IMO.

Crap.  I better get rid of the 2 dozen inert grenades I picked up for a buck a piece at a flea market in Springfield, MO.

Ouch! Most of the stickers are pealing off, but it is all intact. I fired this one in the Marine Corps and they let me keep it.

Anyhow, the handle is attached via a roll pin (Rusty) on mine!!

I knew it had to be a roll pin.  They're like five cents at the hardware store.  I tried a cotter pin but it wiggled around too much.

Can't believe you left yours outside.  Someone dropped one in a yard a few months back in Maryland or NE somewhere and the bomb squad, fbi, atf, etc was there. Made the national news!!!!
