37 is very young for a primary CVA, barring other risk factors (high cholesterol, smoking, uncontrolled high BP, etc). They're going to be doing a lot of lab work looking for the cause of that.

The upside to being so young is that her rehab potential should be excellent.

I know where you are. My sister had one the 26 of Dec. She is 46. They did
a lot of tests, as they thought it was an anyurism. It turned out to be a stroke,
She is recovered now, enough that she can drive, and do houshold tasks. She
did spend time in therapy, as she could not walk for a month.

What I am saying is this, Keep your faith, and she will recover, it may be slow,
but your support will mean everything. Therapy will be very important for her.
I bet she will recover, just keep up your prayers.

Said some prayers for your family............I say a little one every time my wife leaves for work, and when I take the kids to school, etc. It doesn't hurt to keep in touch with our maker.
