Here in northern California it's very windy and lots of rain. While at the smallish gunshow in San Rafael today I was looking around for anything that cought my eye but not coming up with much. Saw a Firestar (aka Bersa) compact .45 that looked cool and was $369.00 with lifetime warranty (just looked though, not bought). Anyway I was noticing there were a few tables that had handguns that weren't tied down with those alarm cords. About 5 minutes later there was a loud clank, as if a metal folded chair fell on to concrete, then the lights went out. This hall had no windows and all the doors were closed. The room fell silent and it was pitch black. Finally someone opened one of the doors to let some light in. Then a few flashlights came on. Eventually more doors came open but it was still pretty dark. Some vendors finally got wise and threw a blanket over their stuff but it made me wonder how many trinkets went home in people's pockets that day. There was very little security inside because they were too busy monitoring the 8 or so protestors outside. One woman was holding up a sign that said "Million Mom March" and I was tempted to ask where the other 992,000 moms went.
