I was reading in on of my outdoor mags about the group PETA threating to drug a lake to keep people from fishing there!  It seems to me that these people are extremist all the way.  They wan't to save the fish by killing them.  Talk about not seeing the trees for the forest.

Ask them what the hell are they doing wearing leather shoes?

Ask them if they know how many boll weevels died so they could wear those cotton Levi jeans?

Ask them if they know what hypocrite means?

You know all those anti-cruelty to animals people who don't eat meat because it is deemed cruel to eat animals? What do these people do about animals that eat other animals? Do they put Timba the lion on a diet of brussel sprouts and soy burgers?

These are the kind of people who threatened to kill Ted Nugent and his kind when they are on the way to school.  They are all so bogus it defies imagination. I am proud to say my freezer is stocked with tasty animals, and I didn't buy them at the store.

PETA are a bunch of whack-o's. They once protested Thanksgiving with the slogan "Thanksgiving, it's murder for turkeys." Well, if that's the case, I'm a serial killer.

On the other hand, I have full respect for animals. Considering how soft most humans are, I can't imagine not respecting wildlife that endures freezing winters, food shortages and all sorts of other dangers(not to mention dodging bullets from time to time.) Not an easy life to say the least.

I'm not against hunting at all, but to me, hunting without respect for wildlife is the little mans mind set.

Humans are just animals with large brains and thumbs, that's all that separates us. I respect "others" right to live free from fear and abuse, whether they walk on 2 legs or 4.

Then again, placing my crosshairs on an Elk and pulling the trigger is a task I look forward to. The game I take has lived free, and has no idea what is about to happen to it. One minute it's feeding in a meadow, the next it's on my dinner plate. I have no problem with that. It's simply "lights out" for the elk.

Check it out...most PETA enviro-Nazis are pro-Choice! Save the animals, but OK to kill 1,50,000 babies every year..and they do not see the hypocracy!

Hey Fred, the media tells em what to use for everything from individual thinking to what to use to wipe ones arse. They are confused but shouting loudly about what everyone else should be doing.
Sorta like those lowlife Scientologists.

Most pro-choice are also anti-death penalty.  It is okay to kill a baby but don't do anything to the rapist/murderers.
Most pro-life are also pro-death penalty.  At least that makes more sense than the pro-choicers.

you must respect animals, whether you're at mcdonalds or beading down on a buck you have to understand a life was/is being given so you can eat. Thats why have to wonder about anybody who eats meat (which is everybody except little rope sandal wearing "vegan" dumbasses!) do they, Mcdowell's customers really associate the taste of a burger with the death of a creature? Have they ever killed a creature to eat? How is it morally just for them to eat and enjoy meat if they have never actually killed and gutted an animal themself to get it? I'm thinking too much, here I've never done anything bigger than bunny rabbits myself so I talk awful big I guess, but what is really scary is they PETA people, "vegans" seem to think we are somehow 'above' killing to eat, we are better than bears and sharks and dogs and cats and foxes who all kill to eat, if they don't really believe that we are mere animals ourselves, the smartest ones around anyway..for now at least well that kind of arrogant thinking could lead to our extinction.

what percentage of people in this world actively kill or have killed animals for food? You think that number is increasing over time. Nope.

Also if you think far to the extreme other side of that, to the root of  Cruetzfeldt-Jacobs (MadCow) "suddenly a creature who had been a herbivore for over a billion years had been turned into a cannibal by man" you can see there too how trying to toy with mother nature could REALLY F@CK your entire species, wonder how long we have left? Just like that gun-grabber Jeff Goldblum talked about in jurassic park.

wow, I really did talk some weird shite must be some paint fumes in the air or something

Help wildlife - harvest a PETA myrmidon today! Well, it looks like those a$$holes got their domain name. The old People Eating Tasty Animals site is http://mtd.com/tasty/. Also, if you do a search using those four words enclosed in "", you will get more fun links.

We hunters and anglers fund the bulk of the money used to preserve and acquire wildlife habitat nationally, through Pittman-Robertson excise taxes on all our gear, including guns. We are the true conservationists and defenders of wildlife. We should never patronize any business that funds them, or anyone who funds the gun-grabbers - like PetSmart, Target, Levis, DKNY, Hewlett-Packard (I still have my trusty old 41CV, but they done got their last dollar from this here country boy engineer), and a hundred others. Anti-hunters are just gun-grabbers of another color; once they ban hunting there will be no "sporting" use for scoped (sniper) rifles. So get active! These people are as motivated as they are ignorant. [sniper]

Some of those PETA chicks are pretty fine.  Too bad they don't eat meat, because I have a sausage...  :)

I think we locked them in a room with nothing to eat but a cute furry bunny, sooner or later they would be having rabbit stew.  They claim to be "humanitarian", but would rather let overpopulated deer starve than end up on my table.  That is really humane.  I have never taken a deer that did not drop on the first shot.  I think most everyone here has more respect for nature than any of those PETA pukes.

ya know, i bet PETA folks are the same sick f*cks who blow upp abortion clinics cause their "PRO life"

i say we start a peta season. it runs parrellel to their breeding season. you may harvest 3 peta members per season. extra tags are avalible for a small fee. the use of electronic calls IS permited. the hunt must be sporting. you CAN NOT use any caliber smaller than .22 CBshort. you CAN NOT use any caliber larger than 20mm. your mag may NOT hold more than 120 rds(not applicable to belt feed). you may only have one tracking dog per hunter. their will be a youth season open only to youths under 14 years of age. they must be escorted by an adult. all above rules apply during that season. their will be a bow season prior to the gun season. the use of exploding, mechanical, poison tipped, gas arrows IS permited.

happy hunting

PETA is fighting to prevent the return of the lobster to Maine’s automobile license plates. Spokesperson Dawn Carr wrote to Maines Governor Angus King, saying, “We hope you’ll agree that the license plate is no place to put the image of an animal that has to be boiled alive.” Governor King responded, “If God didn’t intend for us to eat meat, why did he give us those two sharp front teeth?”

Hey Ramblin,

I want ot make sure my family is not supporting the anti-intelligence movement.

Could you post a list of those retailers, manufacturers, brand names and fast food restaurants who support PETA and Gun Control Orgs?

I bet the list would surprise us all! I am going to have to have a discussion with my wife about Target Stores. She loves them! But I will not support their ignorance if they support PETA. I was shocked when you mentioned them, thinking of how much my wife spends there a year.

I am a proud hunter and outdoorsman and I practice "fair chase". I also send money to the NRA each year even though I already have a Life Membership. I give away memberships as gifts too. Don't anybody start railin' me but I think if you shoot, or believe in your second amendment freedom you should send them at least 25.00 per year. You may not agree with everything they do but they are the strongest lobby we have.

I can't say where I got all my info, some from a Ga publication "Georgia Outdoor News", one of the finest publications I have ever read - they have the "eye on the antis" column. A list to start you off can be found at http://www.nraila.org/. Do some searching and you can dig up the dirt on PETA and their ilk. Can't remember where I got the Target info but it is true.

I have noticed that hunters and ranchers have more respect for animals than the people who just throw a plastic sleeve of beef into their cart.
Outwitting and harvesting an elk does give you an appreciation that meat is life.
PETA people are people who do not think the outcomes of their actions. Sometimes they release animals that don't know how to survive in the wild, who go on to die of starvation.
I am against animal experimentation, but PETA goes too far.
