One day an old man hears on the radio that the nearby river is about to overflow, but he isn't worried because of his faith in God.
The water starts to come closer and closer to his house, when he hears a truck horn outside. When he goes outside the sheriff tells him to get in, and he will be brought to safety. The old man say no thanks! God will look out for me, and the sheriff left.
A few hours later the water was up to his porch when a rescue crew shows up in a boat. They yell to the old man to get into the boat. He replies that they should leave because God will look out for me. So the crew reluctantly leaves.
A few hours later the old man is on the roof and when a helicopter comes by and lowers a rescuer down to him. He tells the rescuer to leave because God will look out for me. So off goes the helicopter.
Well the old man drowns and goes up to Heaven. When he finally meets God he says, God what I happened? I was faithful to you and thought you would look out for me. So God replies to the old man, I sent you a truck, boat, and helicopter, what else was I supposed to do?
