Hey,
Watched it tonight [actually, fast forwarded past all the 90210 drama to the fight scenes]. Saw a B2 dropping bombs on it, Javelins, M109 and M1's shootin' at it. Didn't seem to do much. How fast would the Armed Forces kill it and with what?  Maybe some of this:  Couple of these:  This:  Some of these:  Should do the trick. Whatcha think? Kevin "  "

Well atliest one of us will come away happy with some part of this. I wish they wouldnt have hyped the POS film, and instead just made it out to be released direct to video, or an internet only release  at the end im pretty sure they nuked it, and it survived, i dont know how big the nuke was, forget that part mostly. |

I guess I'm the only one that liked it. I thought it was the most awesome film I've seen in a long time. I even called it a "film" instead of a movie, that' show much I liked it.  Actually the only part I didn't like was how the creature stood up to even missles and bombs. But the movie was about people and danger. It was a pseudo documentary. I guess cause I was raised in the olden days, the golden years of b movies. Showing long shots of computer animation just makes the monster appear cartoonish, Implying a monster with a few horrible flashes makes your brain have to fill in the rest and that's scary to me. again

I loved the movie. I guess to arfcom, unless there are a couple guys making out, it must be a dumb movie.

from the movie it looked like the B2 was dropping low drag 82's or 84's (hard to tell with the size comparison) on the monster. They should of upgraided to blu-109's for a little more penetration.
They need a gigantic box O' truth. |

Before I can answer that I need to know if we are or are not going to follow the rules of physics. Because basically if we follow the laws of physics such a creature....if it actually existed ( a highly unlikely event) could be taken down with one round from a 120mm smoothbore cannon. Or even an old german 88mm anti tank gun.
If we suspend the laws of physics....then what the hell. All bets are off. Fantasy.....a world for those who have trouble understanding reality.

That movie sucked ass but had lots of potential.
4/5ths of the movie was some douche getting people killed to go save some pie. |
