What's up with athletes and their poor money management skills?
They rake in millions, and within a few years-they're broke!
Seems especially prevelent among the black athletes. Just noticed that Evander Holyfield's home is in foreclosure.

What's the deal???

Because they've never had to grow up...Being a professional athlete is like being a kid for your entire life

Its not just black athletes, its athletes in general

They go from having no money (to speak of) to all of a sudden being able to walk in to any store and buy what they want and not have to think about it.
Add to that they rarely if ever have a person that they trust who steers them correctly and almostly always have "friends" who are happy to go along for the ride

it's an odd dynamic... almost as if they were property or something...for sale to the highest bidder.
