But with the helicopters being so noisy, what I don’t understand what they were doing just sitting and leaning against the wall. I hope they weren’t decoys.

Helicopters are very far away. Thats why there are several seconds from the firing of the gun and the rounds actually hitting. Of course this time they just blew them up with a missle first. |

you can hear the gunner say he is waiting for 1600 meters. thats a long way away and i am sure we have equipment all over the sky so identifying a appachee over something else maybe kind of difficult at that range. |
