I need a new backpack for longer (5+ days) trips.

My good old Lowe Alpine Contour IV is done.  The stave pocket is ripped and will not hold the stave any more.  It's 10+ years old as it is -- didn't even have a pocket for a hydration system.  Time for a new one.

I'm thinking of a Gregory Whitney 95 pack as a replacement.  It's expensive but I've heard good things about Gregory packs.  I'm also going to EMS this weekend to take a look at some packs in person.

Requirements:
- at least 4,500 cu in for longer trips
- hydration system compatible
- light(er) weight
- internal frame
- under $300-400

Next big hiking trip (Colorado) is not for another 2 months or so, so I got some time to see what's available.

Thanks!
