When I was kid growing up in rural Dallas county we came upon a dead cow/bull that was cut up beyond all reason with smooth cuts not tears. No one was running cows within 10 miles of where we found this one. There was not a piece of the animal that was more than 4 inches square. The bones were mostly gone along with the guts. I don't know who or what did it but we told to guy that owned the little store up the road and he went and looked at it and said"they are at it again" I didn't asked WTF he meant and he was not freaked out or overly concerned. The pile of stuff was not too far from the road so maybe someone stole an animal , butchered it and dumped the offal on the side of the road in the sticks. That part makes sense but the condition of the hide and the lack of bones and innards is odd to me. There were not even flies on the pile when we found it. Who knows.SS
