And then there was the Tony Resko ad running on Seattle talk radio today...

'Carefully' timed to come out just as the slimeball was convicted of various charges....

And nicely detailing Obama's connections to said convict...

in the meanwhile, you can get it out there by emailing the youtube link to friends and family.  The beauty is we no longer have to rely upon expensive advertising.  More and more people get their news on-line... its why circulation of printed newspapers is on a major decline.  Streaming video is the crack of the Internet age.  So spread it far and wide.

I agree completely but most of the zombies still get their news via watch a lot of TV.

Yup, you and I are NYers, we understand that there are many types of Dems... and quite a few in NY will NOT vote Obama.  I am not saying McCain will win NY, but I would say its in play if he wants to fight for it.

The die-hard union guys that I shoot trap with have never had a good thing to say about any Republican...  and they have even less good things to say about Obama.

I saw a poll that had Obama only 5 or 6 points up on McCain in NY.  If he spent time and money here he might be able to pull it off.

Please, like there is any job in the world that can prepare you for the presidency.

How much experience did Obama have running a presidential campaign?
How much experience do the Clintons have?

He sure seems to have brought something to the table there.

There are plenty of substantial things to gripe about, can't we talk about those?

my guess too ... they'll think " mccain = bush's 3rd term" (which seems to be  their official campaign slogan this time) "fuck it, obama it is. satan would be better than a nuther repug"

There are plenty of jobs that can help you prepare for the presidency:

Vice-president
Governor
Mayor of a large city - NYC has a larger police force than many nations' militaries and a larger budget
Cabinet positions with major domestic or foreign policy implications like Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, Director of OMB
White House Chief of Staff
Senate and House Chairmen with prominent committees - Intelligence, Ways and Means/Finance
Senior military - generals/admirals

I could go on and on... but here is a clue, Illinois state legislature and 1/3 of a term in the US senate with half of that running for president is NOT experienced enough.

He was also a Community Organizer in the toughest parts of Chicago.

And he also hung out with Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk rock performance poets.

Oh, and he's Black too.

Huh.  It almost sounds like... Hillary wouldn't particularly mind McCain being POTUS!  Noooo, that couldn't be!

Uh, oh... better get ready for the people who will tell me I'm a bad American for not lining up behind McCain!  After all, he doesn't have a D after his name... he has an R!  That makes all the difference!  I should change my tune.  I'm "Insane for McCain!"  How's that?
