Off hand, I can't think of any rock songs, but there are a number of country tunes.

Toby Keith - American Soldier

Probably one of the best IMO.

There aren't many pro-military rock songs because most rock bands are a bunch of worthless, leftist, pussies (with only a few exceptions). If you want pro-military music, look to country.

You need to find an MP3 of "Believe" by my favorite badn of all time, Stryper, off the "Against The Law" record.  By far the best lyrics of any pro military song I've ever heard, and the song sounds great too.

ETA - These are from memory, so if I get a word or two wrong, don't nazi me:

"Look what we can do
When we get together
And give support
To those on the lines

It;s our sons and daughters
Our sisters and brothers
Lets show then we care
If they lived or died

(Chorus)
In this land of Freedom
Theres riots in the streets
All in the name of peace

If we stand in unity
We'll win with dignity
Our strength has said it all
Pray and Believe

The wars through the ages
Have taken so many lives
I think of their faces
And the fear in their eyes
With hearts made of courage
And souls filled with fire
Those who fight for their freedom
Let's lift their names higher

(Chorus)
In this land of Freedom
Theres riots in the streets
All in the name of peace

If we stand in unity
We'll win with dignity
Our strength has said it all
Pray and Believe"

ETA song was written about GW1

I heard something on the radio today about a new Kid Rock song.

Rock Salutes National Guard in New Ad
Kid Rock has filmed an advertisement for the National Guard that features a new tune he wrote called "Warrior." NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. also appears in the clip, which was shot at a military base in Long Beach, Calif. The commercial, directed by Walk the Line filmmaker James Mangold, will be screened in cinemas in September and October, while "Warrior" will be offered for download at the military branch's website starting in September.

DropkickMurphy's are pro military. They made a tribute CD for a Marine that died. It has 2 songs on it, Last letter home and Fields of Anthenry. All proceeds went to a collage fund for his 2 kids.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am the one
Camouflage and guns
Risk my life
To keep my people from harm

Authority
Vested in me
I sacrifice
With my brothers in arms

Trough this doorway
What's on the other side
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go!
Come on do it!
Here we go

Take a life
That others may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
It's playng over and over in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows

Take a life
That others may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
It's playng over and over in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows

Stay the course
Reasonable force
I believe I serve a greater good

Smoke and dust
Enemies are crushed
Nothing left
Where a man once stood

Trough this doorway
What's on the other side
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go
But I'm just doing what I'm told

Take a life
That others may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
Shut my eyes
It hammers in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows

Take this life
That ten other may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
It's playing over and over in my head
Where it begins
And where it'll end
Nobody knows

Bang bang it hammers in my head
Bang bang it hammers in my head
Bang bang it hammers in my head
In my head
In my head

Yeah though I walk to the through the valley of the
shadow of death , I will fear no evil:
for Thou art with me

Locked and loaded
Gonna find my truth
Now I'm busting trough
All hell breaks loose

And you can all hide behind your desks now
And you can cry 'teacher come help me!'
Through you all
My aim is true

Dragonforce, the band that does the final song on guitar hero III. Many of their songs seem to have a military theme to them. Operation Ground and Pound, or Through the Fire and Flames. Kind of speed metal.

From the first Gulf war I bring you:

Exodus - Fuel for the Fire

There's a terrorist, he's at the door
Says he's gonna start, the third world war
Justifies his illegal acts
The land he says that's his, he's takin' it back

Blood will spill - in desert sand
The people kill - barbaric land
A war for peace - I understand
Obtain the fuel - the master plan
Blood will spill - in desert sand
The people kill - barbaric land
A war for peace - I understand
Obtain the fuel - the master plan

All my life I've spent believin' what I'm told
I'm not a crook, I don't recall, excuse is getting old
But this time I believe that the cause is justified
So those that burn the flag should be hung until they die
I'm sorry bout the casualties you can't avoid in war
They knew what they were doin' when they signed up for the chore
And to all the people who protest aggressive act
The world's not a happy place, a sad but true fact

Now they find our allies far and wide
And now a force of one and will not be denied
When will they finally realize
Our taxes pay for war and that's no surprise

Blood will spill - in desert sand
The people kill - barbaric land
A war for peace - I understand
Obtain the fuel - the master plan

Avenged Sevenfold are very pro America/Military.

A lot of Smashing Pumpkins new stuff is pro. I went to their concert last fall and it was great. Billy played a rendition of The Star Spangled Banner that would have put Hendrix to shame.

why UK youtube?

Because everytime I try to go to Youtube from here in Korea, it tries to take me to the Youtube in Korean. The best it will let me do it go to the UK version, at least it's in English, and supposedly has the videos as the US.

It's a pain in the ass to be honest. If you know how I can bypass this problem, let me know.
