One of my friends has a blue foam F-14 that's powered by EDFs. Set up with swing wing and tailerons too. He's pulling just about 60 amps per motor. It sounds like a very very pissed off vacuum cleaner.

Hobby Zone is where i get my cheap shit from.
it doesnt matter if i fly my shit into the forest, As long as the engine doesnt get broken, i can glue the shit back together. Ive lost both my wings off my Spitfire, they were torn off in a tragic flight incident in which i tried to do a loop and the wind made the loop last way too long and i couldnt recover quick enough and bam she went into the tree 30 feet up, probably doing 30 mph. :( a little gorilla glue and she was all set 1 day later. I need to get some brushless motors and such.... Also, Arfcom needs a new RC airplane thread, Arfcom got me hooked with RC airplanes and Hobbyzone originally. |

Obviously he pushed it too fast. When the wings began to flutter due to excessive speed, control inputs were almost useless. He'd have saved it if he'd been able to back out of the throttle quickly enough. CJ |
