Meh, You guys are great and I love every one of ya but really, it lacks the .. romanticism.. Anchors away captures the unique culture that the USN and, ironically, the USMC deal with traditionally of deplyoing overseas. I dont think that Anchors Away is not exclusionary of our USMC brothers in it's spirit. |

What makes it great is the romanticisim. The Hymn captures the image of the Marine perfectly. Rowdy, romantic, loyal and proud. |

On Brave Old Army Team, then Anchors Aweigh. Both of which are Fight Songs at their respective academies.
Neither the AF or CG Academies have particularly memorable FIGHT songs. The Marines have a Hymn, but it ain't a fight song. RTFQ |
